KISSの3度目の来日記念盤としてリリースされた。
日本だけのリリースで数も限られていたので暫くプレミアの付いた状態だったが、人気がなくなったのか最近は値段がこなれてきた。
KISSのベスト盤は他のバンドのように、たんなる寄せ集めではなく、リミックスやリマスター、バージョン違いや新録等買い甲斐がある。
アルバムで聴けるのはこのアルバムだけの４、リミックスされた『クリーチャー・オブ・ザ・ナイト』から３曲等ファンには嬉しいところだ。
